Jacques Gilbert is the current Mayor of Apex, NC. He has served with the Apex Police Department for 29 years, retiring at the rank of captain. In addition to graduating in the 220th FBI National Academy, he has written three books, is a certified personal trainer, and is the CEO of TheVine919.

Cary Councilwoman Jennifer Robinson believes that a leader must have a vision, be collaborative, act as an ambassador for her community, and possess a strong resolve to get things done. She places a priority on having forward-thinking planning, a conservative budget, environmental stewardship, and excellent infrastructure, services and amenities.
