Why Join TCC?

"Membership in the TCC offers me unique access to local municipal town councils and their staffs through the monthly TCC Coffee Chats.  These intimate meetings with decision-makers provide a one-on-one opportunity to learn about the goings-on in the towns and to share viewpoints and ideas.  They are invaluable to my business" - Tom Anhut, Anhut Properties

The Triangle Community Coalition (TCC) is the only local organization committed to finding and providing solutions to issues surrounding growth that also provide a balance among economic development, the environment, and community needs while protecting the rights and interests of property owners.

The TCC brings a wide range of people and organizations together, educates them, protects them, advocates for them, and assists them to get more involved in shaping growth management policy throughout the Triangle.

The TCC offers its members true value through:

Awareness of Issues: The TCC keeps you updated with the most important issues critical to the success of a growing area, providing members an opportunity to get involved and educated.

Unique Networking Opportunities: With such a diverse and broad based membership, we provide our members with opportunities to meet and network with new contacts including chamber representatives, elected officials, opinion leaders, individuals, landowners, and ALL segments of the real estate and development industry.

Collective Influence: TCC is the only organization to bring together all segments of the business community to advocate fair and balanced growth solutions. Individuals, small business, and community organizations use the TCC to address and provide solutions in a proactive, efficient manner.

Advocacy and Representation: The TCC works with local governments, elected officials, community leaders, and the media to communicate our positions on important issues.

A Chance to Learn and Grow: Our monthly Luncheon Learn series offers members a chance to network, learn the latest information in the Triangle, and mingle with opinion leaders, elected officials, planners, academia, and other members of the real estate industry and business communities.

Access to Elected Leaders: Each year the TCC hosts a Candidates Forum and Straw Poll that attracts candidates for office and elected leaders throughout the region. The TCC also hosts monthly Coffee Chats with local municipalities, which offers an informal but intimate conversation between town staff, elected officials, and our members.

Inside Information: Knowledge is power, and the TCC provides you with the latest growth information in the region. Our website is filled with reports, policy papers, and first alerts for proposed growth regulations. As a member, you will also receive our monthly “In the Know” newsletter.
